With the launch of the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike, though, we can add a third item to that list: HITS. Haptic Inductive Trigger System is the core technology at the center of this new mouse, and it completely replaces the conventional switches of the left and right buttons with inductive sensors and haptic feedback actuators, making for a mouse whose clicks can be tuned to precisely respond just how you like. Reviving some of its post-apocalyptic RPGs would be one way in which Bethesda could capitalize, and with The Elder Scrolls Oblivion's remaster being a huge success last year, there's proof that it'd be a worthwhile exercise. New Vegas and Fallout 3 are the names being thrown about the most when it comes to remasters, and now evidence for the latter has been discovered in listings for an online toy retailer, of all places.

The Colossal Flower is just one of these events in Slay the Spire 2, but will you choose to take the money and run, or reach deeper into the center of the flower for a more coveted prize? Unlike the Byrdonis Egg which has to be carried to a rest site, or the Lantern Key which requires you to carry it to the next act, this event provides an immediate buff, if you're willing to make the sacrifice.

I'm positive I'm not alone when I say that the original Slay the Spire is the reason I'm into the deckbuilding genre today. It was my gateway into other titles I now love, like the Monster Train franchise, Hunter's Moon, Balatro, and several others in between. In fact, after spending hundreds of hours with the OG title, my only complaint about Slay the Spire was simply that I wanted more.

In many ways, it feels like the era of 'movie games' is over - if anything, it's the era of 'videogame movies.' With Expedition 33, Arc Raiders, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance all set to get big screen adaptations following the success of League of Legends: Arcane, the Mario Movie, and Minecraft, it feels like Hollywood has realized that gaming is, in fact, a goldmine, or is, alternatively, out of its own ideas. But, while videogame adaptations have gone well over the past few years, videogame spin-offs of films haven't. I lament how mid Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was (even with the Fire and Ash-inspired DLC), and as much as I'm excited for Arkane's Blade (if it ever comes out), I have my reservations. It's why it took me a while to pick up Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, despite my love for the franchise - the recent movies haven't done much for Indy, why would the game be any better?
