Ever since Dark Souls was released, players have become gluttons for punishment. They want punishing bosses, stamina-based combat systems, and little hand-holding. Interestingly, those elements also make for some great survival games.

There was a time when the only games I played were platformers. I grew up with Mario and Mega Man, and so I naturally assumed that those were the best sorts of games.

I maintain a lot of hope for Starcraft 2 spiritual successor Stormgate. With ex Blizzard veterans helming developer Frost Giant, and worldbuilding assisted by series co-creator Chris Metzen, its certainly got the chops to follow up the classic RTS the way games like Tempest Rising and 9-Bit Armies have done for Command and Conquer. Early access has been mixed, but there's a long way to go; a lot of improvements have rolled out in the year since launch. Now, Frost Giant reveals that the next Stormgate update will bring its first full campaign, although it stresses that this wont mean a jump to 1.0. When I have an abundance of peaches, I know its time to make this Crock Pot Peach Cobbler. Its the perfect way to use up your peaches and it has the best texture and flavor. Plus, its the perfect summertime dessert. It is similar to a dump cake but this recipe doesnt use pie filling like a traditional dump cake (but you could certainly use it here.) FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:Can I use frozen or canned peaches? This recipe was specifically created and tested with for fresh peaches so you can really take advantage of those fresh summer fruits. But you can use frozen or canned peaches if needed. To make with frozen peaches, simply add 4 cups of frozen peaches and continue with the same directions.You would want to use the same amount with canned peaches. I am not sure how many cans though just keep it as close to the same amount given here. Keep in mind, canned peaches are super soft so they may fall apart a little as they cook.
