This recipe is inspired by the well known Neiman Marcus dip, which is famous for its creamy base and crunchy almonds. The almonds are what really give this casserole that signature flavor and texture. Do I have to use the almonds? Nope! Theyre optional. The casserole will still be delicious without them, but the almonds add a subtle crunch that makes this recipe unique. You can also toast them first for even more flavor.
