You only need a handful of pantry ingredients and everyone will love it!THE PERFECT 10-MINUTE PARTY DIPThis Neiman Marcus Dip is like the Neiman Marcus Casserole. It was inspired by a chicken dip that used to be served at the cafe at Neiman Marcus locations starting in the 1950s. It was a huge hit then and its a huge hit now, especially as a dip. When you are unsure what to take to your next gathering, this is the one to make!FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:My husband hates almonds and cream cheese, how do I still make this? This recipe is probably not for you then. If it is one thing I have learned since starting this website 15 years ago is that so many husbands are (sadly) picky eaters and they dont like nuts, coconut, sour cream, cream cheese or any kind of vegetable other than potatoes ha! The almonds and cream cheese are both really integral to this recipe. You must make this with cream cheese, I do not have a substitute for that ingredient. Yes, you can leave the nuts out, but if the majority of people are ok with nuts, then please make it with nuts and let your hubby eat the other things because I guarantee all the women will love it! Maybe your husband will learn to go out of his comfort zone with this one. What else can I add to this dip? The seasonings are very simple. You could add a packet of ranch seasoning to this as well. You can add fresh jalapeos, pickled jalapeos, or pickles. What can I serve with the dip? Crackers, chips, and vegetables pair well with this dip.. Can I make the dip healthier? Yes, you can choose turkey bacon, low-fat cheddar cheese, and Greek yogurt in place of the cream cheese. Can you make this dip ahead of time? Yes. I love making this the day before, so all the flavors come together. How do you store leftover Neiman Marcus Dip? You can keep this in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
