WWW.PCGAMESN.COMCode Vein 2 is largely more of the same despite its story reset, but I think I'm okay with thatI was caught a little off guard when Code Vein 2 was first announced, but not in a bad way. The original launched in an era where games influenced by Dark Souls were fewer in number, blending the boundaries between FromSoftware's creations and more traditional anime RPGs. Six years on, competition among the best soulslikes has ramped up dramatically. Yet I still find myself with a lingering affinity for the name, and while Code Vein 2 doesn't dramatically change the formula from the first entry, it builds on its strengths in almost every way. The result is an evolution fans will appreciate, while its all-new world and story means you don't need to be acquainted with the first to enjoy what it has to offer.Read the full story on PCGamesN: Code Vein 2 is largely more of the same despite its story reset, but I think I'm okay with that0 Commenti 0 condivisioni 25 Views -

WWW.THECOUNTRYCOOK.NETCrock Pot Coca Cola Beef TipsCrock Pot Coca Cola Beef Tips are tender and flavorful. An easy, comforting, filling dinner thats perfect over potatoes, rice, or noodles!TENDER BEEF TIPS IN THE SLOW COOKER RECIPEThese Crock Pot Coca Cola Beef Tips take simple ingredients and turn them into a perfect slow-cooked dinner that tastes absolutely delicious! Hear me out, dont question the soda, it is the secret ingredient that you didnt know you needed. It brings a subtle sweetness and helps get the beef tips so tender! I promise, this will quickly become a go-to, crock pot dinner!FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:Is searing the beef required? No, searing the beef is not required, but, if you have the time, I suggest doing so so that you get the most flavor and it adds nice color. Can I use a diet soda instead? I prefer using a regular cola because I hate the taste of diet honestly, but I know most people drink diet these days (sorry, I just cant yall, ick lol) but you can use a diet soda if youre a diet soda person. Can this be made on the stove top? Yes. Follow my recipe for Beef Tips (stovetop version) and instead of the red wine, just use soda. That recipe is specifically designed to get the best flavor for making on the stove top so it will look a little different for this one. Is this a thick or thin gravy? If you stick to the cup broth + 1 cup cola youll get a thicker gravy. If you want a thinner gravy, add a bit more broth. Can I make this creamy? Sure, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce at the end. Itll get rich and velvety. Could I add mushrooms? Yes, you can add 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms for a nice flavor and texture change. For some heat, add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes. What to serve with Coca Cola Beef Tips? They go great with any of your favorite roast sides, like Mashed Potatoes and green beans or other steamed vegetables. Egg noodles and rice are also other great options. If you arent feeling mashed potatoes, grab some Dinner Rolls or Breadsticks so you can dip them in all the sauce. You can also add the beef tip and gravy to thick slices of toasted bread to make some open faced sandwiches. How do I store leftovers? Leftovers can be placed in an airtight container and should be kept in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. You can freeze leftovers longer by placing in a freezer safe container for up to 3-6 months. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)beef stew meat cut up any large pieces. You can swap the beef stew meat for sirloin tips, chuck roast cut into chunks, or even venison. The meat doesnt have to be exactly two pounds, just somewhere around that amount. Most stores sell it already cup up these days but you can buy a chuck roast, round roast, flat iron steak, and cut it up into chunks if you need to. I find that sometimes the stew meat can be in really big chunks, if that is the case, I like to cut it up just a tad bit smaller so its more bite size, cooks better and will be easier to eat.butter you can use salted or unsalted. Just make sure it is real butter and not margarine.yellow onion if you dont like onion, just leave it out or consider substituting with a shallot.garlic normally I prefer fresh garlic but I went with the jarred stuff here and I think it turned out just fine.packet brown gravy mix Id use low sodium if possible since there will be enough sodium in other ingredients. If you dont have brown gravy mix, you can use my Homemade Au Jus Gravy mix instead.onion soup mix again, I would probably go with a low sodium option. Dont want to use store bought? Try my Homemade Onion Soup Mix. Coca Cola Pepsi or root beer are also other options. The root beer will give a slightly different sweetness. low or no sodium beef broth stick to the low sodium or no sodium versions as this can get quite salty quick if you dont choose low sodium options. If you dont have beef broth, try chicken broth, vegetable broth, or even water if in a pinch. Worcestershire sauceonion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper yes, I know we are already using garlic and onion in this recipe but the powder adds a whole separate layer of flavor!HOW TO MAKE CROCK POT COCA COLA BEEF TIPS:In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, melt the butter.Add stew meat in batches and sear until browned on all sides, about 34 minutes per batch. If necessary, add more butter or oil if needed. Were not cooking them all the way through, just giving them some color.Once browned, add the beef to a 5-6 quart crock pot.Place the sliced onion and minced garlic on top of the beef. In a medium bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, Coca Cola, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder until smooth. Stir carefully as the soda will fizz up as it is stirred.Pour the soda mixture evenly over the beef and onions in the slow cooker. Give it all a gentle stir to combine. Cover and cook on LOW for 78 hours or HIGH for 4 hours, until beef is fork-tender.NOTE: Do not remove the lid and check on the meat while cooking. This can result in the meat taking longer to cook and coming out tough. Just set it and forget it.To thicken the sauce (this is optional but I prefer to do it) In a small bowl, whisk together 1 Tablespoon cornstarch with 2 Tablespoons water, stir into the slow cooker. Turn the heat to HIGH and cook for an additional 15 minutes until thickened. Taste to see if any additional salt or pepper is needed to your taste. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve beef tips and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.CRAVING MORE RECIPES?Crock Pot French Onion Beef TipsCrock Pot Coca Cola Pot RoastBeef Tips (stove top)Crock Pot Beef Tips and Gravy (no soda version)Crock Pot Beef StewCrock Pot Dr Pepper Beef Stew PrintCrock Pot Coca Cola Beef TipsTender beef tips in a rich and savory gravy cooked in the Slow Cooker.Course Dinner, Main CourseCuisine AmericanPrep Time 10 minutes minutesCook Time 4 hours hoursTotal Time 4 hours hours 10 minutes minutesServings 6Calories 277kcalAuthor Brandie SkibinskiIngredients2 Tablespoons butter (can use salted or unsalted)2 pounds beef stew meat (cut up any really large pieces, see notes below)1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced2 cloves garlic, minced1 packet brown gravy mix (low sodium if possible)1 packet onion soup mix (low sodium if possible)1 cup Coca Cola1 cup low or no sodium beef broth1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon garlic powdersalt and black pepper (optional, to taste)dried or fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)To thicken gravy (optional)1 Tablespoon cornstarch2 Tablespoons waterInstructionsIn a large skillet, over medium-high heat, melt 2 Tablespoons butter.Add 2 pounds beef stew meat in batches and sear until browned on all sides, about 34 minutes per batch. A little less or a little more will still work just fine.I suggest low sodium options where possible, otherwise, this can be a little too salty for some tastebuds. You can taste and add salt later if you feel it needs it but you cant take it out once it is in there.NutritionCalories: 277kcal | Carbohydrates: 7g | Protein: 35g | Fat: 11g | Sodium: 242mg | Fiber: 0.4g | Sugar: 5g0 Commenti 0 condivisioni 25 Views -
