Its packed with ground beef, crispy bacon, melty cheese, and all those familiar burger flavors that you know and love, baked into one hearty, comforting, classic dinner. It also makes for outstanding meatloaf sandwiches for lunch the next day!FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:I like my meatloaf super moist, how do I do that? I gave this meatloaf more of a burger texture but if you like to make sure your meatloaf is super, super moist, then I suggest adding in a cup of milk to the meatloaf mixture. What to serve with Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf? Traditionally, meatloaf is served with mashed potatoes and a side of vegetables. But with this being a Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf, you can serve it with classic cheeseburger sides like French fries, onion rings or tater tots! Can I make Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf ahead of time? Yes, you can prepare the meatloaf 24 to 48 hours in advance. Cover it and store it in the refrigerator until youre ready to bake. You can also make it ahead and freeze it for up to three months, then thaw and bake when needed.If you are cooking it from cold, you will need to add a few minutes onto the cooking time. How else can I serve leftovers? A meatloaf sandwich is a must in this house if we have any leftovers. It offers another way to enjoy a tasty meal. Take a slice of the meatloaf and heat it in a skillet over medium heat, searing each side, then place it on a bun. Maybe even top with some Thousand Island dressing to give it those Big Mac flavors. What else can I add? If you have other vegetables that you would typically put on your cheeseburger, you can add them to your meatloaf as well, such as sauted mushrooms or onions. If you want to add lettuce or fresh diced tomatoes, wait until serving and make them add-ons, so that the lettuce doesnt wilt or the tomatoes become too soft. Can I make this in a loaf pan instead of a sheet pan? Yes, this can be made in a loaf pan, with about the same cooking time, if desired. However, I prefer cooking it on a sheet pan so some of the fat can spread away from the meat as it bakes. Can I make this in the Instant Pot? You can make a similar recipe using my Instant Pot Meatloaf recipe. I suppose you could just cook it in that using those instructions as you would my original Instant Pot Meatloaf recipe. Could I make this in a slow cooker? You can, just add the bacon, cheese and pickles to my recipe for Slow Cooker Meatloaf and follow the instructions. Whats the best way to store and reheat leftovers? Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.To Reheat: Place in the oven at 350F for 10-15 minutes or until thoroughly heated. To heat single servings, microwave for 45-60 seconds or until the desired temperature is reached, or air fry at 350F for 5-8 minutes.To Freeze: Wrap in two layers of plastic wrap and then cover with a layer of aluminum foil; freeze for up to 3 months.
