He had been left behind, alone and afraid, in a place he was too scared to leave, and for three days he did not.To a terrified cat with nowhere to go, that spot was the only thing that felt familiar, even with no home around it and no one keeping watch. It was also, as it turned out, a dangerous place to stay.When Gissell, who runs Paws of Hope NYC based in Brooklyn, NY, set out to bring him in, the spot was empty.
