As much as I love The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, there's no denying that it's rough around the edges today. The formerly impressive world of Tamriel doesn't look as impressive today, and the gameplay is every ounce as outdated as you'd expect from a 20-year-old game.

I first played Kill the Shadow at Steam Next Fest last year. Little did I know it had already won numerous indie awards in China, where independent developer Shadowlight is based. Soon after it had shot to the top of my wishlist, however, disaster struck. The supernatural detective RPG was removed from Steam, along with a string of other titles published by 663 Games. After acquiring a new publisher and a lengthy battle with Steam, the game is back on Valve's storefront, with a demo available to download now. Despite all the hardships, Kill the Shadow is still targetting a 2025 release. The Pathologic series must be among the most stressful games Ive ever played, and yet it is that desperate battle that fuels its dark allure. Fortunately, the Pathologic 3 system requirements arent stressful in the slightest, granting even entry-level gaming rigs to pick up the mantle of the Bachelor.That said, you will need a certain level of endurance if you want to make it through all 12 days of the Pathologic 3 storyline as the Sand Plague spreads and whole districts of the city burn down. The Arena Breakout Infinite system requirements are fairly demanding for older gaming laptops and PCs, but just a bit leaner than your average AAA tactical FPS like Battlefield 6. The officially listed Blight Survival system requirements are unbelievably low, calling for hardware more than ten years old despite the fact that the game rocks a gameplay trailer with some seriously impressive graphics. Short of the most impressive upscaling or optimization on record, there is a possibility that the Blight Survival PC requirements could become much higher than what is currently stated.For an Unreal Engine 5 title, Blight Survival should, considering what weve seen of the game so far, command the very best of the best gaming PC from our buying guides, yet the reality listed on Steam claims the opposite. The games own developer has, however, clarified that the Steam system requirements are definitely subject to change (and will very likely change) but that actual minimum and recommended specs will be confirmed closer to the Blight Survival release date. Of course, we can only assume, therefore, that the current minimum requirements are either a goalpost or what gamers will need for playtesting later in the year. An AMD gaming CPU with even better 3D V-cache potential is reportedly in the works.
