Without hesitation, volunteers sprang into action."She's just a kitten herselfno more than a year old," the rescue shared. "They didn't want her to give birth in the trash. Thankfully, they contacted us. We immediately hatched a plan to help her." LittleWanderersNYCThey easily scooped her up and whisked her off to a vet clinic so she could receive care and finally get some much-needed rest. They named her Leanne Rose and secured a foster home for her and her soon-to-arrive kittens.No more scrounging through trash cans or sleeping outdoorsLeanne was finally off the streets for good. LittleWanderersNYCShe quickly settled into her foster home, exploring every corner and soaking up all the affection. She flopped onto her side, proudly showing off her round belly, stretching her paws in the air, and purring contentedly."We rushed to get her to safety. Now, she's in a loving foster home, getting the care she needs as she prepares to bring new lives into the world." She was so happy to be indoors at lastLittleWanderersNYCOnce Leanne felt safe, she went into labor. Curled up in a soft, warm nest, she gave birth to four beautiful kittens. As they squirmed close to her belly, she leaned in to clean and comfort them, showering them with love."Leanne is the sweetest cat ever.
