    Disney World Pepperoni Spring Rolls
Bring some magic to your home with these Disney World Pepperoni Spring Rolls! Crispy exterior stuffed with melty cheese and savory pepperoni!A 9-MINUTE SNACK When we went to Disney World last year, we had these delicious Disney World Pepperoni Spring Rolls. OMG! So good. You wouldnt think eating fried food while walking around Disney World is a good idea but they are small enough to enjoy without feeling like you ate a slice of pizza lol. They have a cheeseburger version and thats the one that everyone told us was the best but we actually preferred this one but that one was still good. I might work on the cheeseburger one next, so stay tuned!FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:Whats the right kind of spring roll wrappers to use? So in the world of spring rolls there are different types. Theres a rice spring roll wrapper (that I used here) and a wheat-based spring roll wrapper. Some people can find the rice wrappers a bit harder to deal with (since they need to be soaked first and they are thin). If you find that to be the case, I would definitely go with a wheat based spring roll wrapper like you would use for lumpia. Its a bit easier to roll but isnt thick like an egg roll wrapper. I would not suggest using an egg roll wrapper for these, you just wont get the same texture as the Disney World version. Why do these have more cheese in them than the original ones do? I think the ones at Disney World have slightly more pepperoni than cheese and we thought it could use a bit more cheese so thats what was done here. However, you can certainly cut back on the cheese and throw in some more pepperoni slices. Can I make these Pepperoni Spring Rolls in the Air Fryer instead? You sure can! Now, of course, they wont turn out as crunchy so I need to put that out there but it can be done.Preheat an air fryer to 350F degrees.Roll as directed below.Spray each roll with non-stick cooking spray on both sides.Lay two rolls at a time in the air fryer without touching each other. You will need to cook these in a few batches.Cook for 5-7 minutes, then flip and cook for 5-7 more minutes. These are merely estimates and some air fryers have a tendency to cook faster than others so just pay attention to how they are looking and crisping up to know when they are done.Remove and serve! How do I know when these spring rolls are done? Keeping frying oil at the right temperature is tricky. It is best to use the time for cooking listed as a guide but ultimately use your own judgement and cook until the wrappers are medium/dark golden brown, then remove from the oil or fryer.Having an electric fryer is very helpful in keeping oil temperature consistent. How to store leftovers? These rolls are best right when you first make them, however, you can store leftovers in an airtight container and can keep them in the fridge for up to 2 days. Theyll lose their crispness overtime. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)pepperoni you can use regular pepperoni or turkey pepperoni, whatever your preference.shredded mozzarella cheese and provolone cheese I used a combination of cheeses (see ingredient photo below) but you can use just mozzarella.spring roll wrappers I shared more info about the different kinds of spring roll wrappers available and my thoughts on which ones are best for these rolls, above in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) section.oil for frying. Use a frying oil of your choice. Peanut or vegetable oil work well but use your favorite.marinara or pizza sauce I have a homemade pizza sauce recipe if you prefer to make it from scratch.HOW TO MAKE DISNEY WORLD PEPPERONI SPRING ROLLSGrab a circular cake pan or large shallow bowl and add 1 inch of lukewarm water to the bottom.Dip one whole wrapper in the water and lay it on your preparation surface. Add two Tablespoons of shredded cheese to the center of the wrapper, leaving two inches of room on both ends. Lay 10 pepperoni pieces on top of the cheese in a two-by-two fashion. Lay the remaining 5 pieces on top of the 10.Add 1/8th cup of shredded cheese on top of the pepperonis. Take one end of the wrapper and fold it down over one end of the roll. Then take one side and fold it over to the other side tightly encasing the filling. You want to have the pepperonis to roll/fold over each other sandwiching the extra cheese in the middle.Take the second short end of the wrapper and fold it down over the first folded side. Repeat with the other side.Take the last side and finish the wrap. Repeat this process with the remaining ingredients. You will have a lot of wrappers left over (they can be frozen for later use.)Add 2 inches of vegetable oil (or frying oil of your choice) to a heavy duty frying pan.Heat the oil to 375F degrees over medium heat. Use a thermometer to ensure you reach the appropriate temperature and it doesnt get too hot. Use a set of tongs to place two rolls at a time in the hot oil. Cook for two minutes, then flip and cook the other side for an additional two minutes.Remove to a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb the extra oil. Repeat the process with the remaining rolls. Serve warm with marinara sauce and a dusting of grated parmesan cheese if desired.CRAVING MORE RECIPES?Pepperoni RollsPepperoni PinwheelsCheeseburger Egg RollsSmoked Pepperoni PizzaReuben Egg Rolls PrintDisney World Pepperoni Spring RollsCrispy spring rolls stuffed with cheese and pepperonis made just like the ones you get from Walt Disney World, but now you can get them in your own kitchen. Perplexity launches AI-powered Comet browser, and theres a big reason to stay away
Were currently witnessing a phase in the AI era where the main players arent just rolling out more advanced large language models regularly. Theyre also building the foundation for the next stage, a smarter AI chatbot embedded in our gadgets, acting as a super assistant that understands our needs and delivers the information we want. This AI experience could involve pulling data from personal communications, buying gifts in time for Christmas, or planning a quick getaway. Add in the work-related tasks the AI will take care of, and you get a sense of where AI computing is headed. To get there, well need AI operating systems. These are mobile OSes with AI baked in, allowing it to interact with and control every app. Before we get to AI operating systems, we need AI-infused browsers with built-in AI chatbots, not just access to tools like Gemini or ChatGPT. That might seem like a small distinction, but its a big deal.It turns out some of the major players in AI are either developing their own AI browsers or launching one. OpenAI falls into the first group. Its working on an AI browser with ChatGPT at its core. Perplexity is in the second. Comet is its new AI browser, built on the same tech behind Google Chrome. As a longtime ChatGPT user, Im genuinely excited about AI browsers. But Im pretty sure I wont be using Comet anytime soon, and its not about the price.Continue reading...The post Perplexity launches AI-powered Comet browser, and theres a big reason to stay away appeared first on BGR.Today's Top DealsXGIMI Prime Day deals feature the new MoGo 4 and up to 42% off smart projectors
