1. Complex Tunnel Networks
 
The Viet Cong constructed extensive underground tunnel systems, notably the Cu Chi tunnels, which spanned approximately 250 kilometers (history.com). These tunnels served as shelters, storage facilities, hospitals, and command centers, enabling fighters to conceal movements, evade detection, and launch surprise attacks.
