KitchenAid’s Coveted Wood Bowl Stand Mixer Is Finally Back—Now in a Showstopping Timeless Hue

Did you ever think a stand mixer could break the internet? In 2024, KitchenAid released its first-ever stand mixer with a wood bowl, and it set the digital world aflame, with fans calling it "a work of art" and "perfection, chef's kiss."

The beloved mixer launched last year and became an overnight sensation—it sold out multiple times, thanks to its forest green hue, matte finish, leaf engravings, and, most importantly, its first-of-its-kind walnut bowl.

This year, KitchenAid is bringing the mixer back on September 8, and the new shade goes with just about any style.

KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, Porcelain with Walnut Bowl

The 2025 Stand Mixer features the same wood bowl we all know and love, but the mixer itself comes in the new Porcelain hue. And just as the name suggests, it's a porcelain white (not quite in the bright white territory), but rather the perfect creamy neutral.

The mixer's bowl boasts a distinctive walnut shade and wood grain pattern, and its food-safe seal means the bowl works hard (and looks good doing it). It's just as practical as the mixers we're used to, but the warmth and texture also serve as elevated countertop eye candy.

Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Grinder

The launch also includes the Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Grinder in Porcelain, and features matching walnut wood accents. This launch introduces the Wood Design collection, featuring three products: last year's Evergreen mixer and this year's Porcelain appliances. Also available for purchase is the Espresso Accessory Kit, priced at $250.

As of now, the Evergreen and Porcelain mixers are the only two that feature the wood bowl, and the wood bowl is not available to purchase separately for existing stand mixers. However, KitchenAid offers a variety of other bowls, like copper and glass, if you want to upgrade your stainless steel bowl.

Neutrals Are Here to Stay

White kitchens have been popular for decades, and although we've seen a rise in colorful cabinetry and playful paint choices, neutral kitchens haven't gone anywhere—and they won't anytime soon.

The appeal is both timeless and classic, so it's no surprise the new dreamy-white mixer is just the same. The Porcelain mixer would look pretty sitting out in a wide variety of kitchens; it would look just as good in a modern kitchen as it would in a colorful, maximalist, or cottagecore one.

If you want to add a touch of warm, neutral to your kitchen, the Porcelain-colored mixer and espresso machine will be available to purchase online at KitchenAid and select retailers starting September 8.
