This Lenovo OLED gaming laptop has an absurdly low price, and an RTX 5000 GPU

Lenovo is one of the biggest laptop manufacturers around these days, and we've been impressed by some of its gaming laptops recently, including in this Lenovo Legion Slim 5 review. That 14.5-inch OLED laptop was good enough to join our best gaming laptop guide as a decent value ultralight machine, and while this Legion 5i model is a different beast, it's got a spec sheet that makes it a powerful option for gaming.

One of the big, stand-out features on this Lenovo Legion 5i laptop is that OLED display. OLED panels can deliver a much brighter image compared to LCD alternatives, with punchy colors, deep blacks, and high contrast levels. OLED panels such as the one in this Lenovo laptop are great for watching movies or playing big-budget cinematic games, with the Legion 5i screen also coming with a 165Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for fast-paced multiplayer games, too.

For gaming, the Lenovo Legion 5i includes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU. It features 3,328 CUDA cores, along with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Those specs mean it can handle 1080p gameplay in most modern games with ease, but it will struggle to shift up to playing games at the screen's top 2,560 x 1,600 screen resolution with decent settings. Dropping back down to 1,920 x 1,080, however, will leave you with decent frame rates across the board.

That issue aside, this Lenovo laptop includes a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with plenty of storage for keeping a few big games installed, at least. Those cores, along with a clock speed that can boost up to 5.5GHz, mean you won't feel a CPU bottleneck while you're playing games at 1080p.
