How to unlock all THPS 3+4 characters

How do you unlock all characters in THPS 3+4? We know Bam Margera returns to THPS 3+4 after a last-minute shake-up, but he doesn't appear in the initial skater list. The same goes for some other classic characters, all hidden behind locked slots in the character selection screen.

Among the best skate games of all time, THPS 3+4 are back in one delicious bundle, with a partly new but equally incredible soundtrack, new levels, and a huge roster of skaters. Whether you're desperate to shred as Officer Dick again or want to unlock Bam Margera right away, here's how to get all the secret THPS 3+4 characters.

THPS 3+4 secret skaters

There are seven secret skaters in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, on top of the whopping 29 base skaters and additional custom skater slots. Two of these are locked behind game editions: Doom Slayer and Revenant. The five you can unlock in any edition are:

How to unlock Andy Anderson

Andy Anderson is available to buy from the Secret Shop - simply head to the shop tab, then to the secrets section. He costs $5,000, which you can earn quickly by completing certain challenges. You can also earn cash by picking it up in parks.

How to unlock Bam Margera in THPS 3+4

To unlock Bam Margera, simply purchase him from the Secret Shop for $5,000. The fastest way to do this is by creating a custom skater, thus earning exactly $5,000 from the New Challenger challenge. We've detailed this in our separate guide on ways to earn cash fast in THPS 3+4.

How to unlock Birdman

Birdman is a bit tougher and more time-consuming. You must purchase the character from the Secret Shop, but he won't appear there right away. First, you have to complete every base quest in both THPS 3 and 4. Then he'll be available to pick up for $5,000, which you'll almost certainly have by then.

How to unlock Officer Dick

Okay, so he's not really Officer Dick this time. The cop has been replaced by his British cousin, Constable Richard, though he is still voiced by Jack Black. To unlock Constable Richard in the Secret Shop, where he costs $5,000, you must first collect the Panda plush from every level across both games.

How to unlock Michelangelo

Like Bam and Andy, Michelangelo can be purchased from the Secret Shop from the get-go, only he costs a bit more at $10,000. As we detail below, you can get this pretty fast; you just need to decide which skater you want to buy first.

How to get Doom Slayer and Revenant

To get the Doom Slayer and Revenant skaters, you must have the Digital Deluxe edition of the game. Grab that, and the two characters will be unlocked immediately. You don't have to have preordered to get them, you can upgrade at any time.
