How do you grind the molten bucket in THPS 3+4? The first place you get the chance to skate in THPS 3 is The Foundry, and while this is a small area, it's dense with grind spots and goals to achieve. One of these goals requires you to grind the molten bucket, but it isn't always in a place you can access.
Skaters old and new rejoice, as one of the best skateboarding games is back on our screens. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3+4 takes a classic, gives it a new lick of paint, and adds a whole host of new content for good measure. Those who haven't played the series for a long time, or those who are perhaps playing for the first time, might struggle getting off the ground, as the first level has a fairly devilish goal for the uninitiated.
Firstly, we have to locate the molten bucket: it's on the opposite side of the room from where you begin your run. You'll notice a square hole filled with molten metal near the quarter pipes at the end of the foundry - head there and wait.
The molten bucket periodically pours liquid metal into the square hole. When the molten bucket is in the process of pouring, it tips 90 degrees, giving us the opening to grind it. When the molten bucket is at a 90-degree angle, use the kicker below it to launch yourself up and grind the metal pole attached to its side.
If you do this correctly, you should get a goal completion notification. Don't worry if you miss the bucket; you'll have plenty more opportunities to hit the grind. The fastest way to complete this objective is to head to the bucket immediately; it starts to pour the liquid after 18 seconds, giving you plenty of time to line up your jump.
Grinding the molten bucket is only the beginning of your Tony Hawks journey, so take your time to perfect the jump - this skill will help you a lot in the later stages of the sports game.
