Far be it from me to claim that writing a compelling narrative for a JRPG is easy. Its not easy, emphatically so. All the same, one of the main reasons you play a JRPG, at least in my humble opinion, is for the story, and when the story falls short in one form or another, you cant help but be a little bit cheesed off about it.
