The future rarely looks all too bright in videogames. From the dystopian cityscapes of Cyberpunk 2077 and Deus Ex to the war-torn outer space settings of Titanfall 2 or Stellaris, it's all pretty grim. As might be expected from a new studio created by former Metro Exodus veterans, the future of its debut game La Quimera seems dismal, too.
