AMD could be about to release a new variant of its Radeon RX 9070 range that, if it's priced right, might give gamers a new mid-range gaming GPU champion, hints a new rumor. The AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE 16GB is rumored to be a new 16GB variant of the existing RX 9070 GRE 12GB that would ensure this otherwise cut-down RX 9070 variant has plenty of VRAM breathing room for future game support. Quite aside from this being an unconfirmed rumor, there is a catch, though.The RX 9070 range is AMD's current top-of-the-line GPU series, with the RX 9070 XT leading the pack, followed by the RX 9070. The existing RX 9070 GRE 12GB is a slightly feature-reduced version that is still more powerful than the RX 9060 XT 16GB.
