The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 may be specks on the horizon, but plenty of other RPGs are ready to fill the gap. While Fallout London recently dominated the apocalypse side of the conversation, the most striking and memorable fantasy outing of late for me is Dread Delusion, the open-world Morrowind spiritual successor packed to the brim with dark, demonic undertones. It holds a 90% Steam rating since launching in 2024 and now, developer Lovely Hellplace is back with Entropy, which maintains that haunting aesthetic but layers it lovingly across turn-based tactical battles inspired by classic JRPGs.
