Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the biggest surprise of the year. The turn-based RPG took the world by storm after gradually building interest through trailers that looked almost too good to be true. Heavily influenced by Final Fantasy, most were immediately entranced by its Chiaroscuro visuals, star-studded voice cast, and turn-based combat mechanics. Personally, I just love the Gestrals. What would come next from debut developer Sandfall Interactive, however, remained a mystery. Until now.
