They Find Cat Living in Front of Public Housing with Tiny Kittens and Won't Leave Them Behind
They discovered a cat living in front of a public housing complex with her kittens, and refused to leave them behind. DollyLittleWanderersNYCA friendly mother cat was spotted with her five kittens outside a housing project, desperately needing help.It was no place to raise kittens, and when volunteers from Little Wanderers NYC heard about the situation, they sprang into action. A rescuer named Jeanette rushed to the scene, where some of the kittens had fallen through a metal grate.One by one, she and her team carefully pulled them out to safety. They found a mother cat and her five kittens in front of a public housing complexLittleWanderersNYC"We say yes when many can't help and there are no options," shared Little Wanderers NYC.Safe at last in foster care, the kittens nestled against their mom, now named Dolly, nursing contentedly. True to her sweet name, Dolly seemed grateful to have her babies by her side, with soft bedding and hearty meals. LittleWanderersNYCAs the days passed, the kittens grew curious and bold. They began toddling out of their nest, exploring every corner and keeping their mom on her toes.Ever patient, Dolly lovingly groomed and cared for each kitten, ensuring they were clean and well-fed. "About one year old, Dolly is gentle and affectionate. She loves being petted, is calm, grateful, and protective of her babies." LittleWanderersNYCFour of the kittens are black-and-white, and one is a spirited little tabby. With their newfound energy, they scamper around the house, claiming every inch they touch.Rebel, the most adventurous of them all, is always the first to charge into new places. "He is curious and confident. He loves playing with his siblings and tries to befriend the (resident) dog." Camelot is reserved and gentle, preferring her independence, but she melts into a puddle once picked up. Tiny Acorn, though small, is mighty, fearless, and full of charm.And then there's Al Capony, the only tabby, with a big personality wrapped in a little striped body.
