Dragon Ball Z is one of the most popular shonen anime to ever grace the airwaves, and part of that is thanks to well-developed characters and storylines. Sure, a large part of it is due to tremendous battles between Earth's greatest fighters and monsters threatening to end all existence, but the characters make them what they are. Dialogue is important, and Dragon Ball Z doesn't let that component fall behind.
