Although most core Soulsborne titles have featured co-op, it wasnt until Elden Ring Nightreign that a full version of seamless FromSoftware co-op was implemented. In fact, if you had any hopes that the original Elden Ring would have full, seamless co-op, you likely felt cheated when your companion automatically unsommoned once a boss is defeated.
