Two cats survived a pack of dogs that ran through their cat colony, and the two siblings, left with only each other, have stayed side by side ever since. A colony caretaker kept watch over them, putting out food and keeping an eye on the mother and her kittens.Then a pack of dogs began moving through the neighborhood. In the chaos, Tai and Airy lost their mother and their littermates. The two of them were all that was left.Earlier this year, the caretaker reached out to a rescue, unwilling to leave the surviving pair to face the streets alone. They spent their first couple of months with a rescue, then moved in with their foster, Aimee from FosterCatMomAimee, where they have lived for about four months since, and the change has been remarkable. With patience and steady attention, Tai and Airy have turned into the affectionate, playful cats they were meant to be.They are also, it turns out, two very different personalities.
