Users can manage accounts, transfer funds and make payments through one platform.The app also allows customers to buy airtime, monitor transactions, manage payment cards and access a growing range of digital financial services.As a result, customers can bank anytime and from anywhere using a secure and user-friendly platform.NCBA Launches Next-Generation Digital Banking Platforms Across East AfricaHelping Businesses Operate More EfficientlyNCBA ConnectPlus targets corporates, SMEs and institutions. The platform helps businesses manage multiple accounts while simplifying day-to-day financial operations.Customers can process local and international payments, run payroll, pay suppliers and monitor liquidity in real time.In addition, the platform offers financial reporting tools, role-based user access and configurable approval workflows. These features strengthen governance while improving operational efficiency.The Bank of Uganda welcomed the launch and highlighted the role digital banking plays in expanding financial inclusion.Dr Tumubweinee Twinemanzi, Executive Director for National Payment Systems, said secure digital platforms help improve payment efficiency and strengthen the countrys financial sector.Platforms such as NCBA NOW and NCBA ConnectPlus enhance financial inclusion, improve payment efficiency and contribute to a more resilient and competitive financial sector. Innovation and regulation must continue to work together to build trust and expand access to digital financial services, he said.Building on a Strong Digital FoundationThe launch builds on NCBA Groups leadership in digital financial services across Africa.Today, the Group serves more than 70 million customers through its banking subsidiaries and fintech ecosystem. Its digital platforms include LOOP, MoKash, M-Shwari and Fuliza, developed alongside partners such as Safaricom, MTN and Vodacom.Across Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Cte dIvoire, MoKash, MoMoKash and M-PAWA have reached more than 35 million customers. Together, they have disbursed over USD 2 billion in loans since launch.Meanwhile, Kenyas M-Shwari has served over 30 million customers and disbursed more than USD 6 billion.
