The ginger cat who gave birth to seven kittens the night she reached an animal shelter has been adopted. Before a foster placement could be arranged, she gave birth on the shelter floor to seven kittens. Credit: Lori WhiteLori brought all eight of them home the next morning, and Kitt spent the weeks that followed relocating her litter to whichever corner she judged better than the one she had been given. PoppyCredit: Lori WhiteShe was never once careless about any of it. Mother cats are easy to overlook in a room full of kittens, older and tired and arriving attached to a story about somebody else. Once she has settled properly, she will meet the other cat and the dog she now shares a house with, and the two daughters who have already claimed her as theirs.
