Denshattack is a positively excellent game, not just because its fast-paced and precisely-designed, but because it knows how to properly channel the dual concepts of speed and spectacle. Everyone likes going fast, and everyone likes seeing cool stuff, so if you can see cool stuff while going fast, it creates a feeling not dissimilar to what a dog feels when it sticks its head out the window of a moving car.
