Since then, it has expanded into smartphone financing, vehicle financing and driving schools.Today, the company operates in ten markets across Africa and Latin America. It has served more than four million customers.According to Patel, the partnership with Samsung brings together two organizations with a shared vision of expanding access to quality technology.Together, we have made premium technology accessible to customers who may previously have been excluded from ownership, enabling them to stay connected, grow their businesses and access digital services, she said.Smartphone Success Leads to Smart TV FinancingFollowing the success of smartphone financing, Watu and Samsung introduced Smart TV financing in July 2025.The response has been encouraging.
