The Pokmon series has undergone some major changes over the years. Gone are the days of the 8-bit sprites, and welcome are the days of open worlds. Despite all the changes, Pokmon has also stayed largely the same in many ways, with battle mechanics getting minor tweaks, and the giant text boxes still plaguing the screen.
