Like its predecessor, Undertale, Deltarune includes an alternate story route that you can explore despite being told by NPCs that it's not a good idea to follow this path. While it's fun to go through the alternate route and find out how it might play into the overall narrative as we head to the end of the game, you shouldn't pick the weird route as your first playthrough.
