Free-to-play, multiplayer mech game Steel Hunters will shut down in October, developer Wargaming Group confirms. The newly launched PvPvE shooter hit Steam Early Access in April, but has been met with mixed user reviews and a sharp decline in players since release. Now, the World of Tanks studio says it has made the decision to sunset Steel Hunters, and will unlock its full roster of Hunters for everyone to use in the final days before its closure.
