A 2014 study published in the journal Forensic Science International examined three decades of cases between 1976 and 2007. Researchers found that there are roughly 500 cases of filicide in the United States each year. Nearly 72 percent of victims were six or younger, and one-third were babies under a year old. But more than 13 percent of victims were adults between 18 and 40, meaning the risk doesnt necessarily disappear once a child is grown and out of the house.Fathers made up around 57 percent of the killers, and sons were murdered more often then daughters statistics that align with Cody Jacobs disturbing tale. All Thats Interesting could not confirm the arrest records or any other details beyond what Jacob has shared publicly but has reached out for comment via email and direct message. @imcodyjacob I was close to ending up on some white womans podcast #storytime #fatherson #dad #familyhistory #surprise original sound Cody Jacob After reading about Cody Jacobs surprising online search, go inside the story of Mitchelle Blair, the mother who killed her children and stuffed their bodies in a freezer.
