In the same vein as games, a positively massive quantity of anime airs on a regular basis, and as anime becomes more mainstream, especially thanks to Shonen Jump adaptations, that amount only increases year over year. As a result of this oversaturation, not every show can get the undisputed spotlight it may deserve, or even if it does, it gets muscled out just as soon as the season rolls over. Its the nature of the beast, sadly.
