House passes legislation to curb authority of ‘rogue’ district judges
House Republicans have moved to limit the authority of federal judges, passing legislation Wednesday evening to prevent the issuing of nationwide injunctions. The House voted 219-213 to pass the No Rogue Rulings Act to restrict federal judges from issuing far-reaching injunctions. Instead, rulings would only apply to the parties directly involved in the case.
