New AMD Ryzen CPUs could match or exceed clock speeds of 7GHz, according to the latest rumor, representing a monumental leap over Zen 4 and Zen 5 architecture.Previous rumors suggested that the next-generation of AMD processor would only run with clock speeds greater than 6GHz at a very conservative estimate.A new 52-core Intel CPU is reportedly in the works, putting pressure on AMD to respond with something big. Rumors already suggest that AMD wont be able to meet Intels high core count, and will max out at 24 cores with Zen 6, and potentially 32 cores with AMD Zen 7.
