In his first appearance in Resident Evil 2, Leon Kennedy is a fresh-faced rookie, brave, but not particularly prepared for the biohazardous horrors hes about to be subjected to. Following his forcible recruitment in the U.S. governments top-secret B.O.W. task force, he went through some rough times, after which he developed a bit of a habit starting in Resident Evil 4: quipping.
