While Starsand Island doesn't focus as much on farming as Stardew Valley does, both games have a lot of overlap when it comes to the activities available for participation, even with Starsand still being in its early access period. As a newer game, Starsand Island has the chance to see what works and what needs improvement in similar games that have come before it.
