Saltine Crackers– I use regular size but the mini Saltines can be used. Butter– I use salted, but you can use unsalted if that is what you have. Ranch seasoning– I use Hidden Valley. Dill Pickle Juice– from a jar of dill pickles. Be sure not to use sweet pickle juice. Dried Dill Garlic Powder Crushed Red Pepper Flakes– leave them out if you don’t want them spicy. How To Make Dill Pickle Saltines Place the Saltine crackers in a large mixing bowl. Stir together the melted butter, pickle juice, and seasonings and pour over the crackers. Gently stir to get the crackers as evenly coated as possible without breaking them. Spread them out on two rimmed baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool completely before storing. Variations Use Club Crackers, oyster crackers, or Goldfish in place of Saltine crackers. Use spicy pickle juice if you want them extra spicy. Leave out the crushed red pepper flakes if you don’t want them spicy. Add a few tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese for some extra flavor. How To Store Can be stored in an airtight container for a week. I love these containers with lids for storing things or you can store them in a ziptop bag.
