Paradox Interactive is known best for creating and publishing historical strategy games like Crusader Kings 3, Victoria 3, Imperator: Rome, and the upcoming Europa Universalis 5. It's also branched out, though, by putting out games like Shadowrun: Hong Kong creator Harebrained Schemes' noir-inflected The Lamplighters League, medieval combat game War of the Vikings, and supporting The Chinese Room's work on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Another project in this vein is 2020's Empire of Sin, a solid enough gangster strategy game that seemed to have come and gone without making a major impression.
