Victoria 3 is a solid grand strategy game, though its not without its problems. Created by Paradox, the studio and publisher responsible for genre staples like Age of Wonders 4, Stellaris, Imperator: Rome, Hearts of Iron 4, and the forthcoming Europa Universalis 5, Victoria 3 is as detailed and complex as its predecessor, but it's also let down by a poor trade system that's undermined the success of the game as a whole.
