I was somewhat surprised that Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red decided to sell its online games store GOG late in 2025, but unsurprised by who bought it. Micha Kiciski was a co-founder and joint CEO of CDPR, including in 2008 when it launched GOG.
