Cat Came to Shelter with 7 Kittens, Months Later She's Offering Same Love She Received to Everyone She Meets
A cat arrived at a shelter with seven kittens. Months later, she's helping people, offering the same love she received to everyone she meets. Lori WhiteA few months ago, a mother cat and her seven kittens were rescued from a difficult situation. The cat, Callie (also known as SnowWhite), had endured serious injuries and even lost an eye, yet she never stopped caring for her babies. After Callie underwent surgery, Lori White of ARPO (Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership) welcomed the little family into her care.Despite everything she'd been through, Callie remained incredibly affectionate and attentive to her demanding litter. Lori WhiteCallie quickly made herself at home as her kittens bounced around the playpen, tumbling over one another. With seven hungry mouths to feed, she rarely left their side, making sure each kitten received equal love and constant care. She let them drape themselves over her while nursing, purring contentedly, knowing they were finally safe. Lori WhiteThanks to the community's support, Callie received the medical care she needed to heal. She took each treatment in stride and faced each challenge with strength and grace. Her resilience inspired everyone who followed her journey. Her kittens kept her busy, often playfully batting at her tail as if it were their favorite toy. Lori WhiteOnce the kittens were old enough to explore, they discovered the water fountain and food bowls, eagerly attempting their first bites or sips by copying their mom. While Callie was an exceptional mother, she also craved human connection. As the kittens grew more independent, she began following Lori everywhere, curling up in her lap and even asking to be carried around. Lori WhiteEvery morning, Callie and her seven boisterous kittens greeted Lori with an enthusiastic chorus of meows and purrs as they burst out of the foster room. "It's an explosion of kittens ready for breakfast," Lori shared."She's such a good momma, but I'm glad this will be her last litter." Lori WhiteCallie's journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, from surviving multiple injuries and complications to making a full recovery and raising seven healthy, happy kittens. But it was clear she wanted one thing more than anything else: to be someone's one and only. With her kittens grown, she was finally ready for her next chapter. Lori WhiteKatie, a perinatal therapist, was moved by Callie's story and knew she would be the perfect addition to her family. "She fell in love with her strength and resilience and wanted to use her story to show new moms how they can overcome hardship and adversity and come out stronger on the other side."Callie's dream of being the center of the attention finally came true. Katie @katietheperinataltherapistBefore long, Callie began attending therapy sessions and became the most lovable and supportive assistant Katie could have hoped for. She showed everyone how to slow down and relax by being herself, filling the room with calming purrs and gentle chirps."She's been a hit with clients and is beloved in our house," Katie shared. Katie @katietheperinataltherapist"She attends almost every session with me. She loves playing with her human sisters, and she especially enjoys waking dad up by sitting on his chest, staring at him, and meowing between 3 and 4 every morning."Through resilience, Callie thrived. Now, she has so much love to give, touching the lives of everyone who crosses her path. Katie @katietheperinataltherapistShare this story with your friends.
