Compared to years prior, weve been on a pretty decent streak of adapting video games into other mediums like books, comics, serialized television, and of course, movies. The simple fact that the Sonic and Mario movies werent eye-searingly awful alone was a pretty big win for both the video game and film industries, especially in comparison to the infamous live-action Mario movie from 1993.
