Now that the biggest videogame showcases of the summer have come and gone, Im sad to say we didnt get a Hollow Knight Silksong shadow drop or launch date announcement. Id been holding out hope, but I now understand that was a pipe dream. Team Cherrys internet-breaking Metroidvania did come up a few times, though, getting name-dropped by Deadpool during the Summer Game Fest showcase, with five seconds of new footage also debuting at the Xbox event.
