Though frightened, they were finally out of harm's way. They received much-needed medical attention and enjoyed more food than they had ever known.But the rescue wasn't over. Volunteers returned to the backyard to search for any remaining kittens. Two days later, they found him. They were shy at first, huddled in a corner, but soon they started to learn to trustLittleWanderersNYCOnce the kitten, Bucky, was secured, volunteers noticed a wound on his neck that would require extra care. "We can't imagine what he's been through alone out there, separated from his mom and siblings, struggling to survive on the streets," Little Wanderers NYC shared.Finally safe indoors, Bucky relaxed into his warm blankets and even switched on his tiny purr engine.
