Ive been playing the survival horror series for 29 years, ever since the first (and still best) game was released in 1996. Silent Hill, Alien Isolation, Amnesia, and other greats have earned their place in the genres pantheon - but RE, despite, in my personal opinion, the misfires of Resident Evil 7 and Village, still reigns supreme.
