For decades, games have had various means of incentivizing you to play them more than once, beyond just being fun and entertaining. Games may have multiple endings or story routes, or let you start a new game plus with your stats carried over to whomp the bosses that gave you trouble. Most of these incentives are just bonuses, ways to experience the game that you didnt before or just wrestle a little more out of an experience youve already had. However, a certain subset of games, ever-so-subtly, go the extra mile.
