Why You Should Care More About Local Politics
On my Washington, D.C. ballot this year, there were eight choices to make. With just one exception, they ranged from meaningless to absurd. The first was which presidential candidate should get our three electoral votes, which are certainly going to Kamala Harris; Democrats won D.C. in the last three elections by an average margin of 88 points.
