When you first start a level in Ball x Pit, you have pretty basic balls, dealing minimal damage to the enemies. However, as you progress through a round, you will earn stronger balls that each have a unique effect. Eventually, you will get the chance to create Fusions, which combine two of the stronger balls together to make an even better ball that deals multiple affects.
