When Baldur's Gate 3 adapted Dungeons & Dragons into a video game, it did so with a few tweaks. This makes sense, of course. The tabletop itself is all about the players' and dungeon master's creativity and improv, so there's only so much that you can predict when trying to adapt it to digital media.
